Manager, Enterprise Strategic Sourcing

The Manager, Enterprise Strategic Sourcing will manage the company's strategic sourcing activities for Enterprise categories. This position will analyze and rationalize spend data, partner with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, create category sourcing plans, lead the end-to-end contracting process and ensure delivery and sustainability of total cost of ownership performance improvements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Determines and establishes goals of the strategic sourcing team and ensures goals are met

  • Responsible for supplier selection, pricing/terms negotiation, order processing, contract administration and supplier performance management

  • Lead efforts to improve supply chain efficiency

  • Maintain product quality standards and reduce costs

  • Analyze industry trends to proactively identify issues and minimize risk

  • Maintain and develop supplier relationships

  • Establish purchasing policies and ensure compliance with the department

  • Oversee staffing, recruiting, training and coaching of direct reports including performance reviews

  • Conduct data collection and spend analysis

  • Develop, implement and assess new RFX strategies aimed at improving product offering, reducing risk, and optimizing total cost

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business or other relevant discipline


  • 7+ years' experience in strategic sourcing in a mid to large size company

  • 7+ years management experience

  • Ability to manage projects and establish clear goals and accountabilities

  • Knowledge of legal terminology and language related to supplier and vendor agreements and contracts

  • Must have excellent presentation and oral/written communication skills

  • Strong change management and conflict resolution skills

  • Proven experience with contracts, negotiations, and structuring supplier agreements

  • Strategic thinker who is action-oriented, driven to succeed, results-oriented and proficient at managing supplier and stakeholder relationships

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
