Senior Manager, Digital Marketing

This position will handle both a senior manager capacity (strategy, measuring/evaluating performance, and help drive and improve business) and a manager capacity (tactical work-digging into data/analytics, setting up processes, and developing strategies from data).

The Senior Manager, Digital Marketing will be instrumental in the strategic frame-up and flawless execution of WOW!'s overall digital marketing initiatives to drive lead generation and subscriber connects for the business. In this role, the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing will have the opportunity to build and cultivate collaborative relationships with digital agencies and internal partners to accelerate digital sales, drive strategic joint business planning and fundamentally elevate the WOW! brand across our serviceable footprint. In addition, the position will have primary responsibility for the creation and management of best in class shopper experiences leading up to the purchase of WOW! products, including website landing pages, hero offers and the online store.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Drive the digital marketing strategy by designing, launching and optimizing campaigns across multiple online channels (display, SEM, paid social, email, mobile, etc.)

  • Identify, onboard and manage external digital marketing agencies and partners as necessary to execute previously defined digital marketing strategy

  • Own the audience development growth strategy and work with Brand Marketing, Product, Sales and Analytics to set clear and measurable annual and quarterly goals

  • Manage members of the digital marketing team to execute, measure and optimize our paid marketing efforts using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports

  • Define and manage the digital marketing budget needed to achieve desired KPI and financial goals

  • Work with our analytics partners to develop robust attribution models and dashboards that clearly demonstrate the correlation between spending, acquisition, and retention

  • Work with the brand team and agency partners to develop content strategies to attract and engage our target audiences

  • Identify industry trends and insights that will help refine our marketing approach

  • Four year degree in marketing, communications or related field with a minimum 5+ years' experience in digital and/or omni-channel marketing with demonstrated subject-matter expertise.

  • Proven leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for innovation and agile responsiveness.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating a strategic vision and path for getting there.

  • Superior strategic and analytical skills; experience evaluating volumes of data and making strategic recommendations.

  • Ability to work within a deadline-oriented, delivery-centered, fast-paced, team environment.

  • Energetic, charismatic, collaborative self-starter.

  • Demonstrated project management and organization skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while providing excellent follow-up.

  • In depth knowledge of Google Analytics -- certification preferred.

  • Previous cable TV/telecom industry experience preferred.

Computer Skills:

  • Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet software, email.

  • Graphic design software experience is a plus but not required.

  • Knowledge of website development process, coding, and design in a CMS environment is a plus but not required.
